Preserving Shared History: Media Digitization Solutions for Families in Transition
Led by
Paul Schneider
Wednesday, January 21, 2026 9:00am-10:00am
When families separate, dividing physical assets is complex enough - but what happens to decades of shared memories captured on VHS tapes, photo albums, slides, and film reels? In this discussion, Paul Schneider of Remember Whenever will explore practical solutions for helping clients preserve and share their family media during divorce and mediation.
We'll discuss:
- How modern digitization services can create duplicate copies, ensuring both parties retain access to family history
- The emotional and practical considerations around preserving memories during difficult transitions
- How to integrate media digitization into your client service offerings
- Typical timelines, costs, and logistics that may be relevant to settlement discussions
Whether you're a divorce attorney, mediator, or family law professional, this session will provide insights into an often-overlooked aspect of asset division and help you better serve clients who want to preserve their family's visual history.
These meetings are for NYACP Members Only. Log in information will be sent to you in a confirmation email. The same link will be used for ALL the meetings of this session. Please copy the log in and use it each month.
