    About my Practice

    Adam is a recognized as a leader in the fields of Collaborative Law and Mediation, including serving as the founding President of the North Jersey Collaborative Law Group and a founding member of the New York Association of Collaborative Practitioners (NYACP), where he currently serves on its Training Curriculum Committee. Adam is also a founding member, and currently serves as Vice President, of the New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practice Groups, an umbrella organization comprised of representatives from all practice groups throughout the state. On that Council, Adam is a leading member of the Protocols Committee in which he is developing collaborative protocols for state-wide practitioners.

    Within the mediation community, Adam is a past President of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York, where he also chaired its Continuing Education Committee for almost a decade. Currently, Adam is serving on the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediator's Ad Hoc Committee dealing with providing guidelines as to the appropriate boundaries between the professional role of mediators and attorneys.

    In addition to his private practice, Adam is a well-regarded trainer in mediation and collaborative law. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Cardozo Law School where, for over a decade, he has taught Divorce Mediation in addition to having taught family law, and most recently, Collaborative Law, at the law school. Adam is a member of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Law Training Team for the NYACP, is certified by the New York State Office of Court Administration's Alternative Dispute Resolution Office to provide Basic and Family Mediation training, and his 40 Hour Divorce Mediation Training is accredited by the Family Section of the Association of Conflict Resolution.

    Over the past decade, Adam has frequently presented on Collaborative Advocacy throughout the tri-state area and is a regular instructor on Collaborative Law for New Jersey's Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
