    About my Practice

With caring and kind attention, I help you pinpoint your needs and concerns and provide the expertise and support necessary to achieve your goals going forward.

The emotions triggered during the divorce process can be overwhelming. There is a loss of trust, predictability and the familiar, in addition to sadness, pain, relief or other feelings you may be experiencing. Frequently, one’s dignity and sense of self-worth feel violated. This is further complicated when one spouse is finished mourning the death of the marriage, while the other has just begun. Without compassionate and skillful guidance, those powerful emotions can take over and hinder one’s ability to communicate and make good decisions. Regardless of how long you have been married, whether you have children or not, the emotional toll of divorce, left unchecked, often leads to a legacy of bad choices that you may regret for years to come.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. With my assistance, you can move regret-free through an amicable divorce process even if you're in high conflict. Through the process of collaborative divorce, I will help you communicate, feel seen, heard and understood, and with dignity, negotiate the divorce you want, not the one you fear or will regret. Give me a call, let's talk: 917-969-6416.

    Professional Organizations

I am a member of the NYS Bar since 1994. I am a board member of the NY Association of Collaborative Professionals and serve on its Training and Protocols committees. I am a mediator for the NYC Family Courts, FamilyKind, and on the roster of the Family Collaborative Law Center of the NYS Unified Court System. I recently served as a board member of the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York and chaired its Continuing Education Committee for four years, and am still a committee member. I am also a member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation and sit on its Ethics Committee. I am a founding member of the Academy of Professional Mediators. I have two young adult sons and I live in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn with my husband, and Yorkshire terrier rescued pup, Gustopher. My key to success is caring, paying kind attention, and recognizing the importance that dignity plays in resolving any kind of conflict. Give me a call and I'm happy to help you.
