    About my Practice

My practice is limited to divorce and family collaborative practice and mediation, in Westchester and New York City. I first practiced corporate law from 1985-1991 at Debevoise and Plimpton in NYC, and began my mediation practice in 1994. I was the creator and Director of MediateArt, with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, from 1998-2002, and gave 30 hour mediation trainings through MediateArt during those years (with Lori Goldstein, Esq.). I began collaborative practice in 2002 and my practice is approximately half collaborative and half mediation. I believe that most divorces can be effectively managed in either mediation or collaborative practice (probably over 80% of cases), without the need for harmful, expensive litigation, and am committed to "damage control" in divorce. I speak extensively on collaborative law and mediation and am available to speak on these subjects.
