    About my Practice

Licensed Psychologist NY and CT. Board certified in Clinical Psychology. Fellow of American Psychological Association (Divisions of Psychotherapy and Independent Practice).

Presenter at IACP and AFCC. Special Master in two CT family court programs. I have provided collaborative divorce services in CT for many years, and also co-authored two books on divorce ("The Co-Parenting Survival Guide" and "Adult Children of Divorce"). I have provided co-parenting services for high-conflict divorcing parents for approximately 20 years, training many other mental health professionals in some of the approaches I have found helpful in resolving parental conflict around divorce. I am comfortable working in both traditional roles of the collaborative mental health professional and in the single coach model.

I combine a number of strategies in helping parents make the important and difficult decisions around divorce, believing that divorce is a major transition (but not the end) of a family. I help the collaborative team function in a effective and child-focused manner with dignity and emotional sensitivity.
