About my Practice
I have been a practicing matrimonial lawyer for over 30 years, and have been a certified court-appointed Attorney for Children for more than 10 years. While my practice continues to include traditional law and litigation, I am pleased to offer the option of Collaborative Law for my clients whenever appropriate. Having represented both adults and children, I am happy to participate in a compassionate, dignified and civil process with my clients. I believe that Collaborative Law can offer my clients a uniquely personalized, sensitive and satisfying approach to resolving family disputes and a way to protect their interests while preserving their assets and respecting their family members.
I am actively involved in numerous Bar associations where I continue to serve in leadership and mentorship roles. I lecture to legal professionals and members of the public on matrimonial law. Awards I have received include the Doris S. Hoffman Service Award from the New York Women’s Bar Association and a Public Citizenship Award from the New York Public Interest Research Group for my work with the Straphangers Campaign.
