About my Practice
Phylluis has been practicing law for over 35 years. Her three areas of practice are: family law and collaborative law, employment discrimination representing employees, and trusts and estates. Phyllis has represented men and women from all walks of life, people young, old, and in-between, members of all races and and of a variety of religions, native born Americans or immigrants, living alone, in families, or in other arrangements, and individuals of heterosexual and homosexual orientations.
Phyllis is an experienced lawyer and litigator and know how to fight for her clients. However, in many areas, and especially in the area of family law, she believes that the collaborative process gives her clients (and their families) better results than litigation would. Likewise, collaborative law gives her the opportunity to use her legal knowledge and her ability to work through problems to help people resolve conflicts in a positive and creative way.
When a client comes to a lawyer, it is often because something in that client's life has gone out of control. Phyllis will help the client regain control by making sure that the client knows in detail what is going on in their case, by educating the client about the process and the law, and by helping the client to make good decisions.
Phyllis lives in New York with her husband. She has a son and a daughter who are in their 20's and who also live in New York.
