About my Practice
I help couples and families communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts, create parenting plans, and transition into a successful post-divorce situation. I have been in practice as a psychologist for 30 years. I have taught an interdisciplinary course in collaborative family practice at Hofstra Law School since 2010. I have been a voluntary attending at North Shore-LIJ Hospital in Manhasset since 1996 in the Child and Adolescent Department of Psychiatry. I am currently co-chair of the training committee of NYACP. I am a trained divorce coach, child specialist, parent coordinator, and mediator. I have taught at Sarah Lawrence, Hofstra (undergraduate and graduate), and SUNY Purchase. I have experience with children who have special needs, and have dealt extensively with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement.
