Deborah will discuss a general framework for how prenups operate including common misconceptions… reasons for a prenup… negotiating, the prenup (traditional, collaborative mediation)…the key to an effective prenup.

Deborah Hope Wayne, Esq. is a collaborative attorney and mediator who has helped a diverse clientele negotiate prenunptial and matrimonial agreements for over 25 years. She is currently Adjunct Professor at Pace University School of Law; she is teaching a Matrimonial Practice class. For the past 11 years, she has taught collaborative law. Deborah is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.  Deborah has offices in Purchase and Manhattan.
