NYACP Seal of Advanced Training

The NYACP Seal of Advanced Training is available exclusively to active NYACP members and recognizes Collaborative Professionals who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to advanced education, professional growth, and excellence in Collaborative Practice. 

Professionals who earn the Seal have completed NYACP approved advanced training requirements and may display the Seal on their NYACP member profile, email signature, website, LinkedIn profile, professional biography, marketing materials, business cards, and presentation materials while the credential remains active. 

Eligibility Requirements 

Applicants must be active NYACP members and complete 18 training hours within the two-year period immediately preceding their application date, including: 

  • 3 training hours in Domestic Violence related to Collaborative Practice  

  • 15 training hours of advanced Collaborative-related training  

Qualifying training categories include Advanced Collaborative Practice Training, Addiction, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Challenges in Collaborative Practice, Communication Skills, Conflict Resolution, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Ethics, and Domestic Violence related to Collaborative Practice.

The Seal of Advanced Training signifies a commitment to lifelong professional learning, client-centered dispute resolution, ethical practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the continued advancement of Collaborative Practice. It provides members with a visible credential that highlights their dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism within the Collaborative community.
